A catch-all mailbox receives emails sent to nonexistent email addresses under the same domain. For instance, an email message sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. Thus, you can get messages from friends or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a typographical error or to an outdated one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at some point you may start receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation implies that the spam will not be delivered to a 3rd-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all e-mailbox without any difficulty in case you have a cloud website hosting plan with us. The Email Manager in our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel is feature-laden, yet incredibly user-friendly, and it will enable you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with only several mouse clicks. All the mailboxes that you’ve set up will be enumerated in alphabetical order in this section and on the right side of each one of them you will see a tiny "Catch-all" sign. Clicking it once will enable this option, clicking on it twice will deactivate it. As you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will warn you if you’ve already got another one with this feature activated or if you have activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all address with no more than one click if you’ve got a semi-dedicated hosting service with our company and your emails are handled by our cloud platform. All the mailboxes that you set up using any domain name hosted in the semi-dedicated hosting account will be displayed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. Each of them will have a tiny "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to enable this functionality will be to click on that icon. In the exact same way you will be able to remove the feature, if you don’t need it anymore. Our system will notify you if you’re trying to enable a 2nd catch-all email address for a specific domain or if there is active email forwarding, but it will never modify or deactivate anything automatically or without your permission.
